The Managing Director, Austin Muscat Scerri, amicably known as Austin by most clients, has always managed this property and knows personally most of his clients.

The Aparthotel has over the years attracted more than 100,000 visitors to the establishment.
A good percentage of the hotel guests are repeat guests some of whom return year after year.
The company philosophy to offer decent accommodation at the most competitive price has been successful over the years with most of the clients. For the last __ years the hotel has been fully occupied throughout the operating months.

Following the 11 September incidents the company has embarked on an advertising campaign both in the traditional forms of newspapers and via the Cyber Space. The hotel has created 2 web pages and intends to keep improving and to offer special offers through this medium.

For a number of years the Aparthotels operated during the summer season, April to October. As from 2003 the hotel will continue with its activates even during the winter season by offering long stay accommodation to those clients who prefer the milder winter temperature to the cold a bitter weather found in mainland Europe. Special rates are available for those who prefer these months for their holidays.

The company hopes that this will offer its’ clients a wider choice and its competitive pricing strategy will attract clients who could afford to spend at least 1 month in the establishment. The rates offered will include the cost of the apartment and water and electricity.

Winston Aparthotel: Description

The Winston Aparthotel is a small family-run 2 star hotel close to all facilities in the entertainment centre of Bugibba. The Winston is conveniently situated within walking distance to the public rocky beach (400m) and boasts of being close to all amenities one requires for an enjoyable holiday in a safe environment.
The centre of Bugibba offers the visitors a large selection of shops, bars, restaurants, food-stores, a casino, nightlife entertainment and all water-sports facilities. For the more adventurous a public transport terminus is conveniently situated just 200m away and offers direct access to all major attractions on the island.

One bedroom apartment (sleeps 4 persons). One twin bedroom a kitchenette, lounge area with 2 sofa beds, bathroom and balcony.

Two bedroom apartment (sleeps 6 persons). Two separate twin bedrooms, a kitchenette, lounge area with 2 extra beds, bathroom, shower room and balcony.

Three bedroom apartment (sleeps 8 persons). Three separate twin bedrooms, kitchenette / lounge area with 2 extra beds, bathroom, shower room and one or two balconies.

Each apartment is fitted with a fully equipped kitchen including; an electric cooker and grill with two burners, and a fridge, ceiling fans and safe deposit at reception (small charge), internal phone and radio.
 

Hotel Indoor/Outdoor Facilities:


The hotel offers its clients a choice of 40 serviced apartments, a fresh water pool, a children’s pool, sun terrace with sun-beds (free to hotel guests), a games room, a Bar with Cable TV and Restaurant (separate management), reception services, luggage keeping facilities and a departure lounge with changing facilities. Some of the apartments are also suitable for the less mobile clients (please advise on booking) and public car park (free) are available.

St Pauls Bay, Bugibba and Qawra Malta


St Paul's Bay and its neighbours Bugibba and Qawra are Malta's largest, seaside resorts. They offer plentiful accommodation ranging from self-catering apartments to hotel complexes and a variety of nightlife and leisure options. The coastline here has some wonderful open sea views and a vista across to St Paul's Island, where, according to legend, the ship carrying the Apostle is said to have been wrecked. Standing prominently on the isle is a large statue of the Apostle commemorating this legendary event.
Bugibba and Qawra The coastline promenade stretches from Salina Bay to St Paul's Bay taking in some of the Islands' best open sea views and a vista over to St Paul's Island. The shore is rocky, but that has not prevented the resorts' appeal. The flat rocks provide places for sun bathing and there are access points every so often for swimmers. The water is deep, but generally clean, clear and safe for bathing. The Qawra promontory to the north west has been developed into a distinct resort with hotels along the coastline and numerous holiday apartments just inland. Salina Bay takes its name from the salt pans cut in inner segment of this sea inlet. The water on both verges of the bay is not deep but is quite suitable for swimming off the rocks. The bay is popular throughout the summer
